Either restore pension of Dharmi Faujis or stop the pensions of Badal, Sikh genocide victim asks Modi

NEW DELHI, India—The 1984 Sikh genocide victim Nirpreet Kaur, who also heads an NGO named Justice for Victims Organization, has written a letter to the  Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him to either give pension to the Dharmi Faujis or stop the pension of former Punjab CM Parkash “Singh” Badal.

It is pertinent to note here that the Dharmi Faujis had deserted barracks of Indian army accepting the call by former Punjab CM Parkash “Singh” Badal in protest of the June-1984 holocaust.

Later, these Sikh soldiers had to face court martial for rebelling against the Indian government.

“The Sikh army men deserted following the call given by Badal and as they started moving towards Amritsar, quite a few were killed, some were injured and others were arrested and thrown in jail. They lost their jobs, remained in jails and the government also stopped their other benefits like pension,” Nirpreet Kaur has written to Narendra Modi while asking him either restore the pension, honors and other facilities of these Dharmi Faujis or also stop the pensions of Parkash “Singh” Badal as he was the one who had instigated these Sikh army men to quit their barracks.
