Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

You can't bend the rules just a bit? :D
You've got to understand: Guardians must guard. ;)

Ouch! Cool pics of your Lambsfoot though :)
Worth it though to have a reliable car:) Do I see a Mazda there?

Another way of looking at it: there aren't too many knives out there better than that Guard so you're unlikely to come across one, budget or no budget:D

Regards, Will
Sort of, Will. It's a Toyota Yaris, which was engineered by Mazda. Oh well, I got my money's worth out of the old Corolla. I sure do miss the roll-up windows though...

And yes, the only knife I'd really feel bad about missing out on would be this Guardian's Lambfoot, and I got a good one!

Have to keep an eye on my anaphors.
Looking on the bright side, I learned a new word today. :p

I’ve got a lot of catching up on this thread to do. Good thing I have provisions:

Took a couple pictures while waiting for the engine to warm up.
Car payments again after 15 years- there goes my knife budget.

:D
If you keep your new car as long as the last, and look at the payments spread over the entire period of use, you still have plenty of knife money....My wife says I can rationalize anything!

Oh, when you put it that way...plus it gets great gas mileage...

I'm pretty good at rationalizing, too. :D

Howdy Guardians, Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving .... for those who celebrate.

A little steak patina developing on the Guardian's Lambsfoot.

Happy Thanksgiving Kevin, good to see you here, and your Guardians Lambsfoot is looking good my friend :)

LOL! :D

It will ease with use. Mine was quite difficult for the first couple of months, but got much smoother with use. Just right now. Oil the joint.

I hope you're having a great Thanksgiving, all you Guardians in the USA.:);)

This was meant as a reply to Jack Black, but I forgot that's a two-step process now.

Thanks for the sequence Jer, I really don't know what they were thinking of with that knife! Hope you're having a good Thanksgiving

Still the stag one, spent some time this morning cleaning, sharpening and oiling all three, very therapeutic .

Good stuff :)

Do all these knives have cam end tangs or do some of them have half stops?

Happy Thanksgiving John  All the contemporary ones have cam-end tangs, some of the older ones have half-stops

Got mine with me today! Spent most of the day yesterday, between family gatherings, breaking this thing in, flushing the joint, rinse repeat etc. Now the action is MUCH better, my thumbnail is happier and Ive grown even fonder of the little guy! Hoping today or tomorrow it will see some real action but for now, Im enjoying just fiddling with it!
