Full Day #3

For the most part it was a cloudy day, but the sun did break out for a few minutes at a time. Most of the day I sat next to some students from a University in Colorado.  They were on a trip for their School of Ornithology. Such nice young people.  Two of the guys were in one spot before I had lunch and hadn't moved when I returned.  They were all wearing hats of some sort but one of the guys was wearing a bandana and was lamenting that he needed a hat.  So I went in and bought one for him. He loved that and I don't think these young men and women expect us older folks to to nice things for them.
They were really excited when I spotted the rufous hummingbird.

Chicken for lunch on the grill with chipolte seasoning.  Delicious.

It's always so hard for me to pick a photo for the blip because I often feel that the others are blip worthy.  I selected the Mexican Jay
and put a female Rufous hummingbird and Broad-billed hummingbird on a stick as extras.  I hope you like them.  I am hoping to catch up on everything tonight since the internet seems to be working.  It's a starry night.
