Product Owner

Purpose of the position 

One of the biggest international oil & gas company is looking for a Digital Product Owner candidate.

The Digital Product Owner position is responsible for developing MVP of customer-centric web-platform to cover key frictions of personal car owners. Initial customer development work was already done.

In this newly formed role, the successful applicant will be working closely with the Shell Global and Russia Marketing and Digital teams, Shell IT, potentially Shell Retail team and a range of cross-functional teams, to test MVP and in case of success to expand it further.

Accountabilities:

Be responsible for full scope of digital product development from product concept development, feature design and prioritizing to “Go-To-Market” strategy

Lead the work with International and Local stakeholder both Shell-internal and 3-rd party providers

Manage and control progress with outsourced technical team

Requirements:

Digital Product Owner experience from 3 years

Worked on big digital products, preferably in Automotive/Transport industries

Able to work with key Product Owner tools: customer development, Business Modelling, Unit Economics, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, jobs to be done, customer journey map, A/B tests

Proven experience of launching digital products to market

Data-driven approach for product development decisions with track-record of major data analytics tools

Tech savvy person with web development experience is an advantage

Experience of working with virtual teams

Being ambitious and visionary, as well as pedantic and stress-resistant

Fluent English language both writing and speaking
