Mr. James Lee Studdard, Jr., age 74 passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017.
Mr. Studdard was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 7, 1943. He retired after 25 years of service with Goodwill.
He was a resident at Brookdale Living for the past 8 years in Carrollton, Georgia and an active member of the For the People�s Blind Community. Although blind, Mr. Studdard was active in the local Ham Radio club and was one of their �Disaster Radio Operators.� Mr. Studdard was a member of Carrollton First Baptist Church.
Mr. Studdard was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor Acree Studdard and his father, James L. (Jimmy) Studdard, Sr., both of Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Studdard is survived by several cousins living in Conyers and Carrollton, Georgia, Apopka, Florida and Coatesville, PA .
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11 am at the Chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the funeral hour.
Graveside and interment will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Smyrna Presbyterian Campground Cemetery.
