We are delighted to invite you to join the inaugural International Association of Adolescent Health (IAAH) Young Professionals Network Committee which is led by the current Co-Chairs: Dr Jason Nagata, Dr Sophie Remoue Gonzales and Dr Natalie Yap.

Overview
The IAAH is a multidisciplinary association with a mission to improve the health of adolescents worldwide.

The IAAH Young Professionals Network is a community of students, trainees, early career professionals (including health care providers, researchers, public health practitioners, advocates, scientists, social workers, pharmacists) who are interested in improving the health of adolescents locally, nationally and globally. The group provides a forum for members to share training opportunities in adolescent health and supports networking, mentorship, and leadership development for trainees and early career professionals. The group is led by the IAAH Young Professionals Network Executives which has an interface with the IAAH Council so that students, trainees and early career professionals (hereafter referred to as early career professionals) have a strong voice within the Council and vice versa, in order to support the development of future leaders in adolescent health.

Complete the application form below including:

- Demographic information

- Your Curriculum Vitae (maximum 5 pages) that includes the contact details of one professional referee

- An upload of a video (Max file size: 100 MB, between 2-3 minutes, the video can be taken on an iPhone or any video device) or a relevant link to your video (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, google docs etc.) addressing the following questions:

  • Why do you want to join the IAAH Young Professional Network?
  • What committee position are you most interested in and why?
  • What skills/experience/previous roles will you bring to the role?

Interview Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview virtually for the position. Applicants may also be contacted in regards to other positions which are open for application.

Successful candidates will commence immediately, and be subject to a 3 month probationary period.
