The decline in user income has also hit many giants. The field of photo video and graphics must have suffered a lot. ASUS did not think long about that and found a way out of this situation. A professional solution in the budget segment. Similar attempts were earlier, but never such decisions were so demanded as now. ProArt PA278QV monitor is primarily designed for professional users who process photo and video materials, but for a reasonable price.

The panel is made on 8-bit IPS matrix without FRC with 27 inches diagonal. The frameless display has a WQHD resolution (2560 × 1440). For the monitor ASUS declared a 100% coverage of colour spaces sRGB and Rec.709. It also offers factory colour calibration (Delta E < 2), the accuracy of which is guaranteed by a Calman Verified sign, which we will check today. ASUS ProArt PA278QV has several exclusive features unique to the ProArt series, such as ProArt Palette and QuickFit. ProArt Palette - The white balance is set at six coordinates, which is more flexible than most competing models. QuickFit is a virtual ruler that can be displayed on the screen to see how much of an image in its real size matches a particular format without printing it out on paper. The declared brightness is 350 cd/m2, contrast is 1000:1, dynamic contrast is 100 000 000:1. Response time of the panel is 5 ms, and horizontal and vertical viewing angles - 178 degrees. There is nothing special here. ASUS ProArt PA278QV has 2W stereo speakers, plenty of ports for connecting DisplayPort 1.2, Mini DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI v1.4, DVI and a four-port USB 3.0 Type-A hub.
