Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan pays obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Bollywood actor Aamir Khan today paid obeisance at holiest Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib. He listened Gurbani Kirtan for around 50 minutes inside the sanctum sanctorum and also attended the Ardas.

SGPC secretary Dr. Roop Singh apprised him about historic places situated inside the periphery of Sri Harmandir Sahib. He also acquainted him with the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the history of 1984 holocaust besides shedding light on the customs of Sri Harmandir Sahib.

Before it,  Aamir Khan expressed interest to know about the Sikh history and Sikh warriors after which Dr. Roop Singh narrated the history of great Sikh warrior Hari Singh Nalwa.

Dr. Roop Singh proposed him to avail script if he will take up the project on Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa.

On this, Aamir Khan said that he was deeply impressed by the Sikh history and he would feel lucky to work in movies related to Sikh history.

Later, Aamir Khan was honored by Dr. Roop Singh amid presence of other SGPC officials.
