Infrastructure developer

IPONWEB, a world-leading company in building custom programmatic solutions, is looking for an Infrastructure developer.

We are looking for a programmer, who is interested in creating a high-quality infrastructure environment for our projects.

This person will work with System Administrators, Developers, and Project managers in our Infrastructure department, in that part of the team which is responsible for collecting and transferring diagnosis data between vast services.

He/she will be focused on the integrations of services which are not integrated “from the box” but we need it.

Tools you will work with (including but not limited):

• ZService (in-house monitoring/OPS service for managing Zabbix) >> the server-side part is about 70 machines, the client-side part is about 3-4K machines;
• Mtail - about 70 machines;
• Prometheus plugins;
• cloud providers (AWS/GCP) integration tools;
• scripts for collecting data work on 70-4000 machines in different cases.

Main responsibilities:

• Testing, and fixing monitoring-driven tools;
• Supporting existing and developing requested monitoring arsenal;
• Integration for services that don’t have integration between each other;
• Making a solution for a problem definition.

Сapabilities you need for doing it:

• Python 3;
• Algorithms and data-structures;
• API development;
• Strong development culture (style guide, code documentation, tests, and builds);
• Architecture vision;
• Infrastructure tooling experience;
• Golang as a plus;
• Decent English (be able to interact with GCP & AWS support)
