WHOE'S WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Coins.ph is looking for a Head of Fraud Prevention to join our team. We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial person to drive fraud prevention strategy, in order to protect our customers and serve the day-to-day financial needs of millions of people throughout Southeast Asia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive fraud prevention strategy, and collaborate cross functionally with engineering, data engineering, data science, product, compliance and operations to execute a comprehensive roadmap
• Define the vision for fraud mitigation at Coins.ph, and lead a team focused on preventing fraud and money laundering on the Coins platform
• Set KPIs for fraud protection and risk management, analyze current process and product gaps, and build solutions to drive measurable impact without sacrificing user experience
• Proactively identify risks in each new product development, and build uniquely tailored fraud prevention processes and tools for every product launch
• Drive decision-making for fraud incident management in day-to-day operations team work

MINIMUM BACKGROUND

• Extensive experience in fraud mitigation, financial crime prevention, or risk management for payments companies
• Proven track record of creating both operational processes and product solutions for fraud prevention, as well as dispute and resolution management
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, ideally with a working knowledge of machine learning and AI methodologies to support fraud mitigation strategies
• User-focused, self-motivated and results driven mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and precise attention to detail

HOW TO STAND OUT

• Experience in web or mobile application development, or in data engineering
• Experience in fraud prevention for the Philippines or Southeast Asia market
