Police say the woman would drive around with a man and stop people to ask them for help.

It's alleged she would then engage them in conversation and offer to give them jewelry she had on her.

Police say that as she put the jewelry on her target, she would remove the jewelry that person was wearing.

Mihaela Miclescu, 35, of Toronto, was arrested Saturday and charged with 14 counts of theft under $5,000.
