Care leavers heading to uni through Victorian program

A program being run at Victoria's Latrobe and Federation Universities is helping more care leavers get into uni.

Youngsters who have been in foster or kinship care or in a state home suffer from a "culture of low expectations" according to researchers and the program is helping them overcome the lack of family and financial support available to them.
