- A: AnswerThis type of backup is really only meant to cover quick power-outages and fluctuations. It weighs less than 4 pounds, so the battery is quite small. And it specifies it can handle full load for 90 seconds... and 6 minutes for half load. If would be safe to expect something in between those two numbers. There are too many variables in power consumption between different computers and monitors and actual usage to hazard a more accurate guess. As the manufacture states for this unit: "Battery backup keeps devices running during brief outages and provides enough run-time power for safe shut down." If you need more than that, then you'll need to look at stepping up from this unit. If you look at the specs for other units available at Best Buy, some will cover 2 hours of run time for a standard desktop and monitor... but those units are more expensive, bigger, and heavier, some over twenty pounds, because of the more substantial batteries. The APC Pro 1500VA is around 4x the price of this unit, but could allow you to work for 2 or more hours without interruption. If your down time costs you money, then think about investing in a more substantial unit.

- A: AnswerHello DigDug, Thank you for your question. The CyberPower 450VA UPS will supply around 120 minutes for the 12 watt LED lamp. To store the UPS you will need to fully charge the unit overnight, and recharge the battery every three months to ensure optimal battery life.

- A: AnswerIt sounds like you need a more robust power strip. Look for the ratings of the strip before buying, joules and voltage and go for something more heavy duty for your purposes. I don't know that an uninterruptable power supply (ups) is going to have enough power to keep a dishwasher running. They are meant for keeping a computer or an internet router and modem running in a power outage. They definitely use a lot less power than something like a dishwasher.

Q: QuestionHow long would it run with the TV and a steam machine Consol(2 answers)
A: AnswerIt is a very low wattage PSU. I bought it just so I could shut my pc down properly in case of a power outage. I only need it to last a minute or so tops. I do not believe it will last longer then 2 or 3 minutes, but it does depend on the current draw. If all you want to do is shut everything down properly this will work, but if you want to use it to keep your equipment running while the power is out, look for a much bigger PSU.Answered by HARRY
- A: AnswerHello Lynnie, Per CenturyLink the C4000LG uses around 11 watts. The SE450G should provide runtime for at least 80-100 minutes. For 2 hours+ I'd recommend a 650VA. Great question!

Q: QuestionIs it Linux-compatible? As regards USB connectivity?(3 answers)
A: AnswerThere is no USB type A port available on this unit. Picture 4 shows the USB port and picture 5 does not show the USB port..... and of course there is no USB port on the one I received today. So power panel software will not work on this unit.Answered by retiredqwest
