Team Lead Full-Stack JavaScript Developer

Orion Soft represents a British company UNL Solutions and helps its clients from different countries to solve their business problems. 

Our client is a global leader in colour measurement and colour management, offering hardware, software and services for measuring, formulating and matching colour. The company is present on almost all continents and serves industries like automotive, paints, plastics, textiles, printing, packaging, photography, graphic design, video, dental and medical. For a new project, we are looking for a Teamlead Fullstack Javascript (remote). 

Tasks

-Join a development team of 5-10 developers in Europe and the US in a remote role

-Develop back-end and front-end code for web applications, using cloud solutions 

-Participate in the design of the architecture of new cloud projects

-Keep the organization informed and updated on new and emerging cloud technologies, tools and frameworks

-Lead by example on the technical level, design and drive the architecture

-Implement best practices and lead code reviews 

Qualifications Required: 

-Fullstack experience with client and server apps using React, Redux and Node.js 

-Experience with AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync and API Gateway

-Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web API like REST and GraphQL

-Experience with unit testing, source control and good software engineering practices like Scrum and Continuous Integration

-Able to contribute to all phases of the software product lifecycle comprising design, development, distribution and support

-Cross-platform deployment experience (web, desktop and mobile)

-Basic understanding of cloud-native principles and design patterns such as microservices

-Fluent in English 

Beneficial:

-Leadership experience with small teams

-Experience deploying analytics and using data insight

-Knowledge of colour science
