'Active search' for missing autistic man called off

CONWAY (KATV) — UPDATE:

Police say they have called off the active search for Taylor Archer.

Officers spoke with a friend of Archer, who said Archer got locked out of his apartment, then left with another friend.

Police no longer believe Archer is in any danger.

The Conway Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing 23-year-old who has autism.

Police report Taylor Archer was last seen walking at Satterfield's gas station on Dave Ward Dr., just after 2:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22.

Authorities are currently searching for Archer.
