Job Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager / Product Owner to join our Technical Product Management team who will work closely with internal customers and stakeholders (Business-owners, Enterprise Architecture Team, IT delivery teams and it’s Product Owners) and deliver improvements of Transactional Accounting Platform (multi-currency wallet) with maximum business value to support business capabilities of customer-facing products of Libertex Group (cross-platform apps to trading stocks, currencies, indices and many other financial instruments).


 

What Will You Do?

Being a part of the Technical Product Management Team you will work with stakeholders including other Product Managers / Product Owners to define features, enablers, and user-stories. You will prioritize them in the Product Backlog, in alignment with the Programme Backlog and company strategy.

Enablers support the activities needed to provide future business functionality (features). These include exploration, infrastructure, compliance, and architecture development.

To do this you’ll need to build strong relationships across the business and act as an interface between the business stakeholders and the development teams.

Product strategy and planning

  • Develop product documentation including product vision, strategy, roadmap. high-level functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify and specify product features and enablers.
  • Conduct market research of competitive products and solutions.
  • Perform business analysis of customer needs.
  • Conduct technical solution discovery in collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team and subject domain experts.
  • Catalogue decisions and organize information to share among Product managers and the teams.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing the Product Backlog.
  • Keep the Product Backlog up-to-date and refined based on Product scope changes, team velocity and stakeholder feedback.
  • Prioritizes features and enablers in the Product Backlog based on it's business-value and cost estimation.
  • Conduct Iteration Planning along with the team, review and reprioritize user-stories in the team's backlog in the coordination of dependencies with other Product Managers/ Product Owners.

Requirements management

  • Elicit functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with users, stakeholders, architects and other Product Managers / Product Owners.
  • Define acceptance criteria per feature/enabler.
  • Formalize requirements as a list of features and their user-stories.
  • Set up and track product metrics.

Delivery and Execution

  • Ensure that features/enablers in the Product Backlog are refined down to user-stories and have an estimation by the development team.
  • Ensure the development team understands requirements of the user-story and it’s acceptance criteria in the Team Backlog.
  • Manage a feature/enabler delivery according to roadmap and stakeholder. expectations by using agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, SAFe 4.5);
  • Conduct a feature demo to stakeholders in collaboration with the development team.
  • Ensures that product functionality and performance meet the criteria of the product metrics.

People

  • Coach the team through an Agile transformation and customer-centric approach.
  • Help the Team Leader / Scrum-Master to identify gaps in work processes or team's knowledge/competency impacted product performance/metrics and ensure that they are completed.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Skills Required

  • Degree Educated or higher
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in software development
  • Ability to determine customer problems and discover, validate and offer solutions
  • Ability to write product documentation (specification, requirements, instructions, product strategy and roadmap)
  • Ability to prioritise features based on the value
  • Clear communication skills & the ability to build strong business relationships
  • Experience of negotiation at the high level
  • A solid grasp of product delivery on Agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Languages – English – Essential
  • Ability to business-travels (15% of the time)


Additional Skills Preferred
 

  • Domain expertise for the assigned area (financial transaction accounting).
  • Ability to make queries to DB or to develop and use product analytics (ElasticSearch-Logstash-Kibana, Mixpanel, Amplitude etc.).
  • Experience in risk management
  • Experience of managing software development tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience of product management by using Agile-frameworks for Enterprise (SAFe or LeSS)
