PORT ST. LUCIE— Two Port St. Lucie men were arrested early Tuesday after a reported fight and gunfire Monday evening at Veterans Park at Rivergate.

No one was injured, Port St. Lucie police said.

Officers said they got a call about shots being fired at 2200 S.E. Veterans Memorial Pkwy., which is the address for the park.

When officers arrived, they said they spoke with a man involved in the fight who told them he and two other people were fighting and one person fired multiple shots.

Overnight, investigators pieced together what happened. They said:

Antonio McFarlane, 18, of the 1500 block of Southeast Pinewood Trail and Asonte Roswell, 20, of the 2200 block of Southeast Holland Street, planned to sell marijuana to a 23-year-old man, and then rob him. All are Port St Lucie residents.

Roswell and McFarlane were taken to the St. Lucie County Jail. Both have been released on bond —t $170,000 and 160,750 respectively.

Officers said criminal charges are possible for the 23-year-old man, but he had not been charged Tuesday evening..
