Since you didn't read my original sentence right - given your response - I would argue that YOU need an education to post intelligently in this forum.

And why don't you make a comment on the $99 One to One program. Do you even know what it is? It's go nothing to do with lectures.

So many of your posts are just displays of arrogance and ignorance: how do you live with yourself?

I don't mind making an appointment for a $2000+ commitment; I make one for a $20 haircut.
The service is provided by Rogers; not Apple. If an Apple rep is present, they are still only selling the phone. Apple also provides this "service" with their computers, its not only limited to the iPhone.

Does a unique product really require a unique sales method? The SMART car has its own USP, yet its still sold at dealerships like a Toyota. I personally don't agree with Apple, but hey, what ever generates revenue.

Have you ever been to the apple store? IT IS NOT LIKE STAPLES.

And just because home depot runs their business a certian way does not mean it is good for apple...

The people at the apple store highly trained... and they do provide what I consider a professional service.

Man you are way off on this one!!

Yup, Ive been to an Apple store and have experienced their "service." No, its not something I particularly liked. If I wanted help/explanation, I would ask for it. Thankfully, I know that it I required assistance, I would receive professional help. I don't think forcing a meeting is the right way to conduct a transaction.

The quality of service was never an issue. The way its administered is.
