Some famous faces are coming together to recreate an episode of "Friends" with an all-Black cast.

In a post to Instagram Monday, Ryan Michelle Bathe revealed the project with a video showing the original "Friends" morphing into the updated cast. The all-Black cast, which consists of Bathe, Sterling K. Brown, Uzo Aduba, Aisha Hinds, Kendrick Sampson and Jeremy Pope, will do a table read of Season 3's episode "The One Where No One’s Ready."

The "Zoom Where It Happens" event page says the "Friends" event will be directed by Salli Richardson-Whitfield and hosted by Gabrielle Union.

"Soooooooooooooo.......no one told you life was gonna be this way...it has been our day, our week, our month AND DEFINITELY NOT OUR YEAR, but I’ll be there for you," Bathe captioned the post, referencing the sitcom's theme song. "To register, check the link in my bio!!!"

In a follow-up post, Bathe shared an image that listed the new cast's roles: Bathe will play Rachel, Brown will play Ross, Aduba is Phoebe, Hinds is Monica and Pope is Chandler. That leaves Sampson to play Joey.

Some took to the comment section of her posts to share their excitement.

Ava DuVernay wrote, "Love watching you work with such grace and humility behind the scenes. Now we get to watch you play! 🙌🏾"

Correspondent Nischelle Turner wrote, "Omg omg omg...."

Actress Lindsey Gort wrote, "NOT MISSING THIS FOR ANYTHING"

In order to sign up for the event, fans have to "signup to receive messages about how you can make a change during this election."

The virtual table read is set to begin Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.

Earlier this month, "The Golden Girls" got its own re-imagining with an all-Black cast that included Tracee Ellis Ross, Regina King, Sanaa Lathan and Alfre Woodard.

That episode was directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and hosted by Lena Waithe.
