CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) — A woman who worked at a group home for mentally disabled people is accused of sexually assaulting a patient. According to an arrest affidavit, between January 2015 and April 2015, Brianna Sheppard had sex with a 22-year-old patient on numerous occasions.

On March 18, another employee at the Community Care Inc. saw pictures of Sheppard and a mentally disabled resident kissing each other and lying in bed together, according to court documents. When officers spoke to the patient he said Sheppard would have sex with him on “almost a daily basis, without his consent.”

A search of the victim’s cellphone showed text messages between Sheppard and the victim.

Sheppard is charged with sexual assault.
