Blood pressure test
For 24 hours a person is hooked up to a blood pressure cuff which
measures every 15 minutes. Although there’s no real pain, it’s an
uncomfortable experience.
I was hooked up yesterday about 1 p.m. I slept more than I thought I
would, but did not feel rested when I got up this morning.
Don’t ask me how I was able to think and write this morning with the
buzz and beep going on. I even taught our home Bible reading group last
night, as I paused a couple of times to stretch out my arm when the
cuff puffed up. Tends to make one lose one’s train of thought.
If it serves for nothing else, the test gave me a poem for Cloudburst.
