IDF prepares for Gilad Shalit's return
The IDF has stated that the troops are preparing to maintain order ahead of Gilad Shalit's return. Shalit's first pictures back in Israel will be taken by an IDF Spokesman documentation team at the Tel Nof base where they will then be shared with the media.
The defense establishment is not ruling out the possibility that Shalit will be photographed earlier on Tuesday by Hamas who will then distribute the photos to the media. The area around Shalit's arrival destination from Egypt to Israel will be declared a closed military zone and will be closed to civilian traffic. The operation will be under the command of the Head of the Operations Directorate Brigadier General Kobi Barak. (Yoav Zitun)
