Cops Eat Marijuana Snacks On Video, Joke About Kicking Disabled Woman After California Pot Shop Raid

A video allegedly showing cops eating marijuana snacks after raiding an illegal marijuana dispensary is under investigation since the video also shows police officers in Santa Ana, California joking about kicking a woman with a disability, in addition to eating the weed they were confiscating.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, a Florida principal was caught smoking weed while topless in a car with a student.

Marijuana activist Marla James was a witness to the event at the Sky High Holistic dispensary raid. As the cops eat marijuana snacks, they also made a joke about her after she left the room since James is an amputee who uses a wheelchair.

“Did you punch that one-legged old Benita?” one police officer said, and another female cop jokes about kicking the disabled woman. “I was about to kick her in her f*****g nub.”

James was astounded when she saw the video.

“You know what, I was really nice to that woman. I even complimented her on her hair. I treated that woman with respect and I have no idea why she wanted to kick my stump. When I saw the video it almost made me cry,” James told OC Weekly and CBS. “She doesn’t know what it’s like to not have a leg. I still have phantom pains.”

The video also shows the California cops dismantling the surveillance equipment in the room while some play darts. Attorney Matthew Pappas, who gave the video to the Voice Of OC, also believes at least two of the cops are eating marijuana snacks.

“I believe they are consuming edibles and the behavior exhibited gives every indication that’s what they’d be doing,” Pappas claims. “I’m concerned this video is necessary to trigger an investigation.”

Even as reports claim the cops eat marijuana snacks, Police Chief Carlos Rojas says the video is unclear.

“Definitely there’s behavior, conduct I’m concerned about,” Rojas said. “I don’t know if that’s [a marijuana] edible. Where did [the officer] get it? Is that a protein bar or an edible?”

Rojas wants the full, unedited video turned over to police for their investigation, but Commander Chris Revere told KABC that the Santa Ana police officers will be held accountable for their actions if there was indeed wrongdoing.

“We expect our officers to hold themselves to a certain standard and represent the department and the profession well,” Revere said. “If that wasn’t done in this case, it’s certainly something that, as part of the administrative investigation, the chief will make the appropriate disciplinary recommendation if it’s warranted.”
