A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood Friday night.
The man was in a non-crossing area when he was hit by the northbound train near 12th Avenue South and South Lucille Street shortly after 8 p.m., BNSF Railway spokesman Gus Melonas said.
Train service is suspended while BNSF police, Amtrak personnel and the Seattle Police Department investigate, Melonas said.
