The United States spent hundreds of thousands of dollars cleaning up hazardous waste at an old factory site in South Bend, Indiana. The government is now looking to stick ARG with the bill because ARG used to own the place. It has brought this suit against ARG under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) seeking to recover the money...
