Baton Rouge ranks in the top 100 best cities for people with disabilities

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge ranks in the top 100 best cities for people with disabilities according to a new report from WalletHub.

October is Disability Employment Awareness Month, shining light on the fact that the unemployment rate for people with disabilities is almost double the rate for people without them.

WalletHub compared the 150 most populated cities in the United States using several factors including the number of physicians per capita to the rate of employed people with disabilities.

Baton Rouge was the 59th best city for people with disabilities according to the report.  Here is a list of the top ten and the bottom ten.
