Rutina Wesley's mysterious Arrow role has been revealed, and the star is playing none other than DC's Lady Cop.
The True Blood actress will be recurring as Liza Warner, better known as the fictional police offer, reports Entertainment Weekly.
It's thought that Arrow will put its own spin on the character as she'll be a member of the anti-vigilante task force.
Wesley will appear in multiple episodes of the show's fourth season.
Parker Young was recently cast as a new love interest for Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) sister Thea (Willa Holland), while Elysia Rotaru will play a character from Oliver's past.
It was announced earlier in the summer that Oliver will face off with villains Double Down (JR Bourne), Anarky (Alexander Calvert) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), while Shadowspire agents Reiter (Jimmy Akingbola) and Conklin (Ryan Robbins) will be seen in flashbacks.
Arrow returns on October 7 on The CW in the US. The series airs on Sky1 in the UK.
