The mother of the 9-year-old child with autism said he was playing outside about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on the 3700 block of Antisdale Road. She checked on him minutes before the 13-year-old knocked on her door and said her son was lying on the ground.

Her son was on the ground not moving with blood coming out of his mouth and nose, police said. He was transported to Rainbows Babies and Children's Hospital.
