Hearing (Telephonic) on Searching Hotz's Hard Drive Set For March 28

There will be a hearing on March 28rd before the magistrate judge, Hon. Joseph Spero, in SCEA v. Hotz regarding searching George Hotz's hard drive. The telephonic hearing begins at 1:30 PM in Courtroom A, the 15th floor, in San Francisco. No, he wouldn't have to come back from his vacation. It's the lawyers, by telephone, with the judge in the courtroom -- all on a conference call. Even if he had to attend, he could call in from wherever he happens to be.

It says "Settling" but it means setting, I'm confident. Here's the wording of the notice:

YOU ARE NOTIFIED THAT the a Telephonic Discovery Conference regarding the Joint Letter Related to Jurisdictional Search of Mr. Hotz’s Impounded Hard Drives [docket no. 98] has been set for March 28, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., before Magistrate Judge Joseph C. Spero, Courtroom A, 15th Floor, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, California. Counsel will establish a conference call number and will circulate the information to all counsel and the Court by March 25, 2011.

Missing HDD controllers

The 'components' SCEA is talking about are hard drives' controller cards. The neutral [third party examining the drives] subsequently had to explain to SCEA the form and function of hard drive controller cards.
