2014 8th District Republican Convention

March 5: Presidential Primary
April 11: 8th Dist. Convention
June 1: Statewide Convention
June 18: U.S. Senate Primary
November 5: Election Day

The 8th District will be holding its biennial District Convention next year, as required under the Republican Party of Virginia’s Party Plan. At the convention, we will be electing an 8th District Chairman (for a two-year term) and, by vote of the District Committee, we will also be nominating the 2014 Republican candidate for Congress.

The convention will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2014, at 10:00 am at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington – 6600 Little Falls Road, Arlington (map). The convention is open to the public.

Voting & Observers

Only duly elected delegates to the convention may vote. The deadlines to file to be a delegate to the convention have passed. However, the convention is open to the public, so you may attend as a non-voting observer.
