Police Investigating Homicide in Capitol Heights

Two men were found in a car with gunshot wounds.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating the double homicide of Anthony Stevens McKelvin, 28, and Sean O’Neil Ellis, 24, that occurred last night in Capitol Heights.

On May 30, at roughly 11:34 p.m., police officers responded to the 1300 block of Rollins Avenue for sounds of gunfire. Once they arrived, officers found McKelvin, of Suitland, and Ellis, of District Heights, inside of a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Both men were pronounced dead on the scene. Detectives are working to identify suspects and establish a motive in this case.
