Fight between co-workers started after one bullied handicapped employee, police say

The bullying of a handicapped employee led two co-workers to engage in a fight that eventually saddled them both with harassment charges, according to Middlesex Township police.

Alexander Frances, 46, of Marysville, and Jason Barnhart, 39, of Newville, were both fired after the Tuesday incident occurred at Lane Enterprises on Claremont Road in the township, police said in a news release.

Frances was allegedly picking on a handicapped employee when Barnhart stood up for that person, police said. The fight did not leave either man requiring medical attention.
