Donald Trump, NBC Promote a Jew-Hater For Ratings

By Debbie Schlussel

Christian Dior fired John Galliano for anti-Semitic and pro-Hitler comments.  And CBS canceled Charlie Sheen’s show for the season when he called the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, “Chaim Levine.”  But leave it to NBC and Donald Trump to promote a Jew-hater.  On this season of Trump’s NBC faux-reality show, “Celebrity Apprentice”–which debuts tonight–one of the contestants will be Gary Busey, who eagerly engaged in on-screen blood libel against Jews for money.

garybusey.jpg

donaldtrump2.jpgkurtlarvadisiirak

As I told you a few years ago, Busey defamed my late father and tens of thousands of Jewish Americans who’ve served in the U.S. Army with honor and courage.  My Orthodox Jewish father, H.L. Schlussel, MD, was proud to serve in the Army during the Vietnam War.  When he graduated from medical school, he and so many other Jewish medical doctors from his class were drafted and served that when they got off the plane at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, they immediately had far more than a “minyan,” the ten men of adult age needed to have a full Jewish prayer service.  My father served with honor and was honorably discharged as a captain after several years serving in the Army, then the Army Reserves and Army National Guard.

schlusselarmy.jpg

My Dad’s Army Uniform From During Vietnam

But all of that–my father’s service and that of many Jews in every war on American soil, from before the United States became a country–had no bearing on Gary Busey when he took money from the Muslim government of Turkey to star in “Kurtlar Vadisi- Irak [Valley of the Wolves -Iraq],” a cinematic blood libel against my dad and other Jews who served America.  The movie, which broke all previous box office records in Jew-hating Turkey, rightfully bothered my dad, who wrote about it on this site.

Busey took cash to portray a Jewish U.S. Army doctor who goes to Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq for the purpose of murdering Muslims so that he can harvest their organs for wealthy people in New York, Tel Aviv, and London.  The movie is an insult not just to Jewish Americans who served in the U.S. military, but to all American servicemen, none of whom murdered Iraqis for organs or anything even close.

I couldn’t care less that Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka converted to Judaism to marry a rich Jewish guy.  More important is that he has no problem rewarding and giving a forum to people like Busey, who eagerly engage in anti-Semitic blood libels for money, a minstrel show put on for Muslims eager to see Jews and Americans portrayed as bloodthirsty animals, when we know that’s a description that actually fits the Muslims Americans gave their lives for in Iraq.

And that’s not to mention that Trump also rewarded Rima Fakih, his Miss USA, who refuses to condemn Hezbollah and eagerly supports the terrorist group (in which several of  her family members are high ranking officials and for which several close relatives of hers have been “martyrs” against Israel).  And Trump had no problem making open Islamic terrorism supporter, 9/11 truther, and anti-White racist, Farouk Shami, a sponsor of both his Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants (he owns CHI and Farouk Systems hair products which sponsored the pageants).  That’s despite the fact that Shami proudly celebrated the fact that his father murdered many Jews.  Trump has real estate and hotel operations in anti-Semitic Dubai, where Jews with Israeli passports or Israeli stamps on their passports are not allowed in and where products made in Israel are boycotted.  He’s all about the dollar and couldn’t care less about taking a stand against anti-Semitism.

Given that, it’s interesting how he’s been embraced by people like Sean Hannity, who are pushing his latest phony Republican Presidential bid (he constantly explores runs but, thankfully, never actually runs for office).  And it’s interesting to see how he was so warmly embraced at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), run by an organization whose officer (Suhail Khan) is tightly connected to Al-Qaeda (his father raised money for Ayman Al-Zawahiri and Al-Qaeda), and where neo-Nazi supporter Ron Paul won the straw poll.

Yes, anti-Semitism is chic, again.  It, in fact, never went out of style.

It used to be, though, that Jew-hatred was reduced to the fringes.  Now, it’s back on center court and will be feted and rewarded on a prime time NBC show, with the presence of Busey on Trump’s show.

You may say that Trump needed the nutjob factor in Busey, a la Charlie Sheen.  But, nutty or not, Dior and CBS have shown anti-Semitism is unacceptable to them.

Why is it acceptable for NBC and Donald Trump?  And if Busey is acceptable, why not invite David Duke on for Trump’s next season.

Same difference.

Trump is a punk. He’s done his own version of Too Big to Fail screwing bondholders & taxpayers declaring ‘bankruptcy’ on his casinos in Jersey.

Screw Trump & that bad hair he rode in on!

Trump is a punk, pretty much says it all. Who the F watches that crap?

Bonzer Wolf on March 6, 2011 at 9:05 pm

And exactly what does Gary Busey’s acting in a despicable movie have to do with his being on Trump’s show? If every celebrity who ever offended anyone were banned from appearing on TV, there wouldn’t be any celebrities on TV (not that that’s a totally terrible idea). You happen to know of something Busey did that was offensive to you, but I’ll bet there are plenty of celebrities you are currently fine with only because you are not aware of their personal opinions and beliefs. It isn’t Trump’s job to take issue with his contestants’ moral values, he’s just providing entertainment for people who like this sort of “reality” show. If you don’t like Busey or Trump, don’t watch the show. I don’t watch it regardless of who’s on it. I wouldn’t watch even if YOU were on it! It’s a stupid show to begin with.

V: I knew defenders of anti-Semitism and blood libels against Jews would try to come to Trump’s rescue. Disgusting. Since you think Trump shouldn’t take “moral stands” against Jew-hatred, then why shouldn’t he have murderers and rapists on the show, too? Wouldn’t want to have a TV network or potential GOP candidate take a “moral stand” against that, would we? Gary Busey starred in a Muslim movie against Jews and Americans, on the level of what was produced by Hitler and the Nazis. Get a frickin’ clue . . . and a conscience. DS

A decade later and there’s the death of outrage in America. You can defame and slander your own country and to think people like you find that acceptable. I used to think some things were were beyond the pale. Now I wonder if they still are with the kind of non-judgmental mindset this country has produced and is producing, with people full of mush who should have brains. I think right and wrong matter and its an important yardstick of how to react to the contemporary social state although I feel Debbie and I are in a minority on that subject these days. If you can tolerate someone on that show willing to accept money to blacken his country’s good name, then the fact the movie also libeled Jews is no difference. Some difference, indeed. That’s why I think its beyond the pale and if that makes me unpopular with those who think Trump can do no wrong, so be it. Someone has gotta take a stand for what is right, good and decent in this world, even if I was the last man and even if Debbie was the last woman on earth to defend it.

Busey starred in a movie very similar to Televisibg “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” He’s a vermin ridden scumbag.

OMG…..Vegasrider,how can you openly and shamelessly say that? as I get deeper and further into DS blog I ve realized there are issues and things I was nt even aware in the slightest way,and that is the crux of the thing…… it s one thing when you do a bussiness transaction with some one and you are not aware of their involvement or positions in certain issues, when you are made aware then you take a stand that reflects your moral compass,if it means boycotting a certain product or certain some one, then so be it,but my gosh, you just can t say:”what of it?”. and go merrilly on your way unaffected by what you just learned….taking a stand against plain evil is the moral thing to do,even when one is the only one doing it,thank you DS for being the lone voice on this issue…I ve always seen Trump as a phony repub, but the man isn t phony,he is who he is and has a lousy moral compass,if he has a compass at all,I am not talking bad about him, facts speak loudest when you put it all together.

Shane on May 23, 2012 at 4:37 am

Busey looks like hell… I guess spending all of those years drug-addled isn’t good for the complexion, is it?

If there is one consolation in all this it is that we can rest assured that Trump is not running for President. That is just more attention grabbing nonsense from an idiot who will say anything in order to get ratings for an aging franchise. Trump adds nothing to the GOP Presidential race. Even Mitt Romney can say that he’s succeeded in the business world without needing a bankruptcy every three years or so.

Brian R. on March 6, 2011 at 9:27 pm

I sadly think anti-jewish stuff HAS become openly chic since the Advent of Obama.

There are so many LIBERAL Jews out there who love The Zero and have not a CLUE (even two years after) how he really feels about Israel. It’s a freakin’ joke how they remain clueless!!!

Look what is happening in the ME. Coinkydink? Only if you are brain-dead.

I know the Media have actively blocked so many truths about The Zero, but the info is out there for those who want it.

Bill Ayers. Dr. Rashid al-Mansour. Kaleed Rashidi (Oh and don’t forget how the LA Times hid that video of The Zero at a dinner with Rashidi and how the guests openly attacked Israel).
Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Edward Said.

Hmmm, what do the above ALL have in common other than being tight with The Zero?

Skunky on March 6, 2011 at 10:02 pm

Well having a U.S. president thought to be the best friend
of Israel who in a campaign promise to get votes from Jews, assures Jews he will sign the embassy act and 8 years latter declines to do so is pretty damning wouldn’t you say. I mean a best friend not recognizing Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel is enormous. Then he goes on to not sending a representative or a special letter of his administration to the ceremonies of the Anniversary of the Reunification of Jerusalem. I mean, this is what the state of Israel is all about. The fact he took a denier of the Holocaust and called him a Man of Peace also did damage. Sending billions to the PA after the PA made the worst intifada upon Israel ever, speaks volumes. The fact this happened post 9-11, war on terror was hideous at best. If we want change we have to actually admit our very own president let us down not just the one we have now.

Trump running for president reminds me of “Public Enemies” (a Batman/Superman direct to dvd movie I got for my nephew). The movie starts with Lex Luthor being elected to President mainly because of a touch economy. I don’t remember the exact plot but I think Kryptonite poisoning drove him insane.

We are being threatened with living out the plot of a child’s movie.

sg on March 6, 2011 at 10:06 pm

That’s because people like Donald Trump and Gary Busey don’t care to recognize that when they cater to the PC agenda of Hollywood, that they’re supporting groups of people that willfully and actively hate Jewish people, as well as “white” people as a whole. Years ago, when the powerful, WASP “elite” started giving it all away, it didn’t affect them on their level. On my level though, we’ve been dealing with BLATANT anti-white racism, supported by the white majority, for years. What do they care? Insignificant cattle like myself were affected, not them. It is starting to come full circle, though, and I’m seeing top level executives talking about this anti-white sentiment firsthand – Now that their lives are being affected by it, it’s suddenly a problem. I know you don’t care for me very much, and you think I’m some kind of monster, but the truth is – until we stop choosing race, religion, or ethnicity over fairness and compassion we’re in for a lot more than just anti-semitic movies… we’re looking at extinction, at least down here in the trenches. I know no one’s going to step up to bat for me – so I’m prepared to fight… even if that means fighting alone.

Yup… this guy with a bad hair job and sleazy ethics is being promoted as a serious GOP presidential candidate? Frickin’ hilarious!

What’s not so funny is his pan-Islamism and his trumping up an anti-Semitic nutjob on his failing show cuz he needs the ratings. Oh and anti-Americanism sells well in Obama’s America, too, no doubt.

I judge a person both by his values and the company he keeps. Trump has shown us his judgment or lack of it and the kind of people he brings onto his show. A word about his corporate sponsor: this is where Debbie’s naming and shaming of NBC may get results. Christian Dior and CBS showed us they understand bigotry affects their bottom line. Will NBC?

Stay tuned. And please – let’s not have people make excuses for low-lifes like Busey and those who would legitimize them and use them for their own ends, like Trump. Its getting old!

Look, a global poll http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4038608,00.html held for BBC finds just three countries ranked —>below Israel. They are, Pakistan, North Korea, Iran. Imagine. But here is the kicker few care to admit, Antisemitism is innate in the human condition. Period.

Not a day goes by where this is not proven. In essence not a day would go by where we would be scratching two or three individuals or groups off our list.

Harriet on March 7, 2011 at 6:54 am

Sadly, each race needs a nemesis to justify its own existence.

Culture. faith and tech are transient. Enemies are forever.

Hence, antisemitism.

As for Trump, I could imagine home saying “Khayabar, ya Yahud” during some emotional exchange.

The mind boggles.

“The Obama Misery Index and the Rise of Obamavilles” is the best blog post I’ve read in a long time. This is why President Obama will be a one-term president! http://t.co/hhFr73z

I can’t recommend this piece highly enough. This will be all the ammo we’ll need when talking to other voters during the 2012 general election.

Dan on March 7, 2011 at 11:23 am

Dan, that site is to barrack (no pun intended) for Romney.

No. Way. I am NOT for Romney. He won’t win. Get ready for a second term by The Zero.

Besides, the canny team of Zero have already tried to cut the legs out of Romney by saying they loooooooove his RomneyCare.

Obama. Deval Patick. Greasy, old Alxelrod. All had a go last week. It’s only the beginning. Romney is a good LIBERAL.

Re: Dan on March 7, 2011 at 11:23 am

I’m sorry Dan, but Skunky is right–Mitt Romney is not the answer. Debbie has written about him. Here are just four of her posts on him:

    http://tinyurl.com/4d43y6l

    http://tinyurl.com/4lspney

    http://tinyurl.com/47wut95

    and

    http://tinyurl.com/4exwkzs

Plus, in addition to what Debbie said in those posts, he also did RomneyCare when he was Governor of Massachusetts. The only difference between RomneyCare and ObamaCare is that RomneyCare is on the State level, while ObamaCare is on the Federal level–in other words, there is no difference between them. Mitt has not repudiated or renounced RomneyCare. If I’m Obama–thank G-d I’m not–I would want Romney to be the Republican nominee and would hope that he makes ObamaCare an issue. There is no way that Romney can credibly argue against ObamaCare without also repudiating his own RomneyCare–and even if he does, it still might not be enough.

Sorry, but as Debbie said, Mitt happens.

However, here’s someone who can make Obama a one-term President:

    http://tinyurl.com/4ndt3sg

Plus, this person can credibly argue against ObamaCare.

How sad that some people would use their role in media to instigate and further hatred of Jews. Just goes to show that Charlie Sheen and Mr. Trump have no taste, despite having so much wealth. Such antisemitism should never be tolerated, as fanatics will take it as encouragement to act out violence against Jews. They thrive on stuff like that, just as maggots thrive on treif meat.

Wendy Davita Rosen on March 7, 2011 at 11:39 am

I have not, and still do not understand why anyone would be anti-semitic. At 62 years of age, I remember as a child and teen going to family reunions to see my aunt Connie. Aunt Connie was Jewish, married to my mother’s brother, and the primary reason for my attendance. Her ethnicity and religion were of no concern to me then; she was a beautiful woman who was fun to be with.

Later, when I went from a midwestern city of 5,000 to college with a campus population of 56,000, I was situated in a dorm room with two Jewish fellows from New Jersey. Not only did they help me adapt to the culture shock of so many people being in one place, they provided a brotherly assistance whenever it was needed. As I moved on, and they graduated, I realized how much I missed their fraternity.

Anti-semitism is irrational; it defies logic. To detest someone for something personal inflicted on you could be understood…to be that way simply because someone is who he/she is, to me, just does not compute.

Kent on March 7, 2011 at 11:50 am

Skunky writes, “I sadly think anti-jewish stuff HAS become openly chic since the Advent of Obama.” It is certainly getting worse on his watch (his attitudes toward Israel have only legitimized the hatred), but it started long before he got here. The French diplomat describing Israel as a “sh***y little country” or Mel Gibson ranting about “fu**ing Jews” all made their appearance years ago.

What ties those comments with those of Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, and yes Busey’s appearance on Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” is that anti-Semitism is no longer deemed beyond the moral pale, and its expression carries little price. And when this particular bigotry is deemed “cost free”, one shouldn’t be surprised to see more of it.

And Busey? There’s a special pleasure watching the climactic scene in “Under Siege” when Busey’s character announces “Rybeck is gone” as a 16-inch shell falls on him and his nuke-stealing buddies.

Raymond in DC on March 7, 2011 at 1:39 pm

Busey left what little brains he had splattered on the pavement years ago…

“On December 4, 1988, Busey was severely injured in a motorcycle accident in which he was not wearing a helmet. His skull was fractured, and doctors feared he suffered permanent brain damage.[11]

At Pinsky’s recommendation, Busey was seen at the facility by psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy. Sophy suspected that Busey’s brain injury has had a greater effect on him than realized. He described it as essentially weakening his mental “filters” and causing him to speak and act impulsively. ”

Doda McCheesle on March 7, 2011 at 3:10 pm

I served in Vietnam and am what DS would call a “Goy” if you will. My question is why should Jewish soldiers get some sort of special op-ed or memorial because they served in Vietnam? Are they golden and exceptional? Their efforts weren’t anhy better than some black-turned Muslim.

Dan Schneider on March 7, 2011 at 5:40 pm

That’s not the point, Dan. The movie Busey starred in had him playing a Jewish US Army Doctor who sold human parts on the Balck Market. Debbie’s dad was a US Army Doctor in ‘Nam. Is it clear now, or do I have to draw stick figures and arrows?

    Occam's Tool on March 7, 2011 at 11:43 pm

“. . .draw sticks and arrows” for Dan Schneider? That’s funny Occam’s Tool. But I don’t think that even those visual aids wouldn’t help Schneider see which end is up. I doubt that he’s served in the military, and even if he had, I’m certain he hasn’t seen any action the stupid way he talks. I’m sure he’d have trouble getting from one end of a tube to another even if you forcebly tried to flush him through. He’d kind of just stick to the walls of the tube like some slime.

Ralph Adamo on March 22, 2011 at 1:34 am

Dan – I think she was trying more to get across the Jewish doctor element rather than just a general comparison of a Jewish soldier to a Gentile soldier. This is a typical anti American/pro Islam portrayal and GROSS exaggeration of the incidents at Abu Ghraib – If the doctor was Irish, it just wouldn’t carry the same insulting impact.

Donald Dump is a disgusting human being had he not inherited a real estate business from his father. He cheats workers out of money, telling them he will pay them 50 cents on the dollar and if they do not like it, they can sue him. They take the money, because they would be driven out of business otherwise.

I met this walking slime. He gave a speech before a group of intellectual property attorneys, and was so crude and vulgar that you would have thought Snoop Dog wrote his speech.

He is also a miserable landlord to the middle class renters of his apartments in Queens, New York. He violate numerous housing regulations, in an attempt to chase out the tenants to convert the building to condos.

I would never vote for this pig.

Jews do kill people to harvest organs. Jews hide their crimes by accusing people of “blood libel”. There’s enough news out there about the Israeli organ harvesting crime rings for even a cursory look to show this is an actual phenomenon. I never knew of the movie cited by this poster before, but I will now see if I can find it. It’s about time people started speaking out despite the stranglehold on U.S. news and entertainment media by the Jews.

therealproblem on January 21, 2012 at 2:10 pm

Oh, BTW, Judaism teaches that Jewish doctors should not save the lives of non-Jews if they can get away with it. It’s in the Talmud, which Rabbis can tell you is the real foundation of Judaism, not the Old Testament. It says that Jewish doctors should only treat non-Jews if they’re in a non-Jewish controlled society where refusal to do will cause them a problem. Otherwise, they are prohibited from treating goyim (the “cattle” that are non-Jews). If Americans & Europeans only truly knew what a hateful, racist culture Judaism really is, they might just kick them out because of its corrosive, criminal effect, just as so many countries have before. Dear Jews: It’s not religious intolerance as some of you have been brainwashed to believe, and which others use as an effective lie…it’s for the things Jews do. Look in the mirror and stop playing victim.

Your articles are not interesting because I can pick up the bullshit that is between the lines and that only degrades you as a journalist or whatever you are. You have done stories on people that I personally know and I want to say that you try to spice things up by making up your own version of the story. You are a Muslim hater (no doubt about that) and you do it because you are a Jew. Listen, why can’t people express there hate for Jews? Especially when you can express your hate for Muslims. People like you need to be open minded about this stuff but you simply are not. I KNOW what your agenda is my friend and I know who you work for. It could also be that you are delusional and that you live in a BOX! Please get some help and try to spread truth instead of out right lies. You should be ashamed of yourself, you are fake, and your profession is fake. Kindly get help. I have no respect for you as a human being because of what you do and what wrongly say about others in order to gain attention.

With Zero Respect,
