Holland music teacher wins award

Holland Christian High School teacher Scott VandenBerg received the 2014 John P. Varineau Outstanding Music Educator Award earlier this month.

Created by the Grand Rapids Symphony, the annual award recognizes music teachers in West Michigan who work to ensure that music and music-making are an active part of every student’s education.
