About the author
Elysa Hendricks is 5'6" tall. She has curly hair and brown eyes. She's an author, a wife, a mother and a daughter. Everything else is subject to change without notice.
After trying her hand at a variety of careers, insurance underwriter, video store owner, home day care, and domestic goddess for other people, Elysa Hendricks, a longtime reader sat down to write a short contemporary novel. When her heroine turned out to be a winged, telepathic alien, Elysa decided she enjoyed writing stories set in different places, times, and realities. She's published 14 full-length books, ranging from sweet contemporary to sexy sci-fi, as well as numerous short stories.
While living in north east Illinois she helped found the Windy City Chapter and the Futuristic, Fantasy & Paranormal Chapters of Romance Writers of America, and taught workshops on writing at writer's conferences and at community colleges. Recently relocated to sunny Florida she's happy to be part of the Tampa Area Romance Author chapter of RWA.
Her "real life" motto is: Boring is good. Excitement is vastly overrated, so she saves the adventure and excitement for the characters in her books.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2014This is a short sweet story, just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Lucky is struggling to keep his bar open after his girlfriend and his accountant ran off with most of his money. He didn't know she was cheating on him with him. He was working all the time and now its all gone. Everything but the building. Enters this appealing little ball of blond fluff, a cute little number that tells him she is there for the waitress job. Di, is a quick leaner and a cracker jack helper, it's almost magical the way she handles everything including Lucky...what's a boy to do? He can't help noticing she is not like other girls.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2014This is a short but cute story of magic, wishes and a Leprechaun. I loved the idea that Di was trapped in the crystal paperweight and set free when it broke. A cute and clever story!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2014Loved this short, sweet story! Lucky's recent string of bad luck suggests his name might be a cruel irony, but that could change when Meg shows up to apply for a job in his about-to-shut-down pub. They each have a few speed bumps to get past before either of them can get what they most want- and one of those bumps is realizing just what it is that they really want.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2014This is on of the most fun stories I have ever read. I had no real idea what it would be about but it's perfect as we slide toward St. Patrick' s day or any day you want
a quick happy ever after. Beware you will want more!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2022Lucky is turning 30 and about to loose his bar and restaurant after his accountant absconds with his money. The last hurrah will be staying open for St. Patrick's day, but strange things start to happen.
This is a delightful tale about the leprechaun who has waited such a long time for Luke's wish, and how it finally turns out. Very short book, but interesting and suspenseful, well written, and a welcome break from reality!

This is a cute, short read. Lucky is struggling to keep his bar open and up pops the vibrant Di, who quickly charms her way into his life with her sweet, bouncy personality. He can't help noticing there's something slightly magical about her.
I love a short read - just sitting down with a cuppa before I got to bed and knowing I'm going to go to bed on a happy ending and this delivers. It's a perfect little snack of happiness.
The romance is sweet, with very few sexy moments - aside from a slight reference to the effect Di has on Lucky's trouser department so this would appeal to those who like their romances pretty clean. Honestly, I would have loved this to have maybe 3000 words more as there was a bit of a jump from lust to love but this still delivered everything promised.
