Lancaster woman sentenced over sex with special needs boys

LANCASTER - A Lancaster mother is headed to jail after pleading guilty in court to two counts of endangering children.

30-year-old Jessica Hachat — a licensed teacher — was working a summer lunch program when detectives say she had sex with the boys, who are special-needs children.

It was an emotional day in court on Friday as Hachat made a tearful apology for having sex with two special-needs boys, while a parent of the victims called Hachat a sorry excuse for a mother, a woman and a human being.

Hachat could have served 180 days on both counts, but instead will serve just three days in a Lancaster jail.
