Tractor overturns near Woodburn killing 1 man, injuring another

One man is dead and another is injured after a tractor they were on overturned near Woodburn Thursday.

Authorities responded about 7:45 p.m. and discovered the turned over crawler tractor near Monitor McKee Road Northeast and McKee School Road, said Dave Bochsler, a Mount Angel Fire District spokesman. One man died at the scene and the other man was flown via LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center with apparently serious injuries.

How the tractor overturned is not immediately clear, Bochsler said. Marion County Sheriff's deputies at the scene for an investigation.

The identities of the men and condition of the injured person have not been released.
