Michigan State's Korie Lucious ordered to pay fine for reckless driving arrest

EAST LANSING – Michigan State basketball player Korie Lucious must pay $903.80 in fines and court fees after he was sentenced Monday in district court for reckless driving.

The junior guard was sentenced to one day in jail, which he already served after his Aug. 30 arrest.

Lucious was arrested Aug. 30 and later charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a charged later reduced to reckless driving.

Lucious was arrested just after 2 a.m. that day on suspicion of drunken driving and his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.09, according to police records.
