Not seen this posted yet so I thought I'd share.

Just under 10 minute animation by Tomasz Baginski (The Witcher, Fallen Art, Cathedral) showing the 1000 year history of Poland. Very nicely done although a knowledge of the time period helps as some of the dates will be more obvious to some than others.

Anyroad, enjoy.

Amazing to say the least! I would love if someone could explain the 1800-1900 period though, I didn't understand a lot about those guys walking in the forest etc...

Wish there were more videos of such quality about other countries too.

I suppose this represented the time when poland was divided between Austria, Germany and Russia.

I don't know why but I don't like it.

I can't say why or in which way.
:IS2:

My only negative towards it is that Baginski does over stylise his characters which sometimes works well (like Fallen Art) but other times it doesn't quite fit, which I felt during a few scenes in this. Overall though I'm still a big fan of his work.

Yeah, a nice little animation there. The quick pace and transition of the images forces you to watch it a couple of times to pick out all the nuanced images (for instance, my wife-to-be pointed out the bit about religious tolerance, with the image of a Roman cross, star of David and the Eastern-Orthodox cross).

Also, minus for kecz, for his idiotic remark.
