Resolution Celebrating Brambleton's Ten Year Anniversary WHEREAS, Brambleton officially opened in Loudoun County as a community in September 2001; and,
WHEREAS, on September 24,2001, the United States Postal Service designated Brambleton, Virginia as an approved third line address; and
WHEREAS, Brambleton is the home to Legacy Elementary School, Creighton's Corner Elementary School and Briar Woods High School; and
WHEREAS, Brambleton encompasses nearly 2,000 acres, is now home to over 3,000 families and eventually
will have over 8,100 homes; and
WHEREAS, residents throughout Loudoun County have enjoyed Brambleton's retail and entertainment establishments; and
WHEREAS, Brambleton has been a good corporate citizen to local charities and the schools donating thousands of dollars to charities over the past l0-years; and WHEREAS, Brambleton will be hosting the Bramble-l0 Bash Fall Festival on September 23-24, 2011 to celebrate its ten years as a community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors joins the Brambleton community in celebrating ten wonderful years in Loudoun County on Q^^+^*L^t/t ,)nl 1 September 24,2011.
