Disabled MBTA passenger assaulted, spit on, police say
Incident happened on Orange Line train
MBTA Transit Police are asking for the public to help identify a woman who investigators say spit on and assaulted a disabled passenger on an Orange Line train Sunday evening.
Police say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 29. Investigators say the woman was on a southbound Orange Line train at the State Street MBTA station when the incident occurred.
Investigators said the woman left the train and boarded a northbound Blue Line train.
The woman is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5 foot 3 inches tall with dark hair, wearing a black jacket, black and white sweater, black jeans, black boots and carried a black leather handbag.
