Before and After: photos of Japan’s tsunami cleanup progress

While the nation is still struggling to clear debris and get back on its feet, they’ve made some really impressive progress. They still have a long way to go, but if these AP photos tell us one thing, it’s that the country is determined to keep at it.

A great example of the Japanese spirit in the face of severe adversity. They have already learned important lessons from this disaster and are moving forward, with the exception of the national politicians who still play their usual silly games.
