The Taiwanese people are continually striving to raise their international profile, and a court case in Washington D.C. may now provide a very effective “solution” to this problem.
According to the arguments presented to the court, there is no legal basis for native Taiwanese people to be classified as having “Republic of China nationality,” and in fact they should be carrying US passports.
