FOUR man have been charged with the attempted robbery of a disabled man in Darlington.
Police are appealing for information after a group of men walked into the home of a disabled man in Roxby Moor Avenue, Firthmoor, on Friday afternoon.
It is alleged that they demanded cash and threatened him with a knife.
The victim, in his 40's was unhurt and the men left empty-handed.
Police later arrested five men from the Firthmoor area. Four men aged 19, 18 and two aged 22 have now been charged with attempted robbery and are due to appear before magistrates in Newton Aycliffe tomorrow.
