3:30 P.M.
POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING DEATH IN GREENBELT WEST
On November 5th, 2010, at approximately 10:55 P.M., Greenbelt Police officers responded to the 6100 block of Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, Maryland, for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by ambulance to Prince George’s Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Michael Valentine Randall, 24 years old, of Washington, D.C. The investigation is continuing at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit at 240-542-2133.
