0 Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist New Delhi, India: July 1, 2008 Judges and leaders sitting in any court or position anywhere in the world without extraordinary scientific background of physics should avoid giving any verdict on any of the petitions related to an operation that could prove dangerous to the very existence of the Earth. I dont say that the most powerful Atom Smasher, which is to become operational in August, could prove so dangerous to the Earth to the extent as being claimed, but where is the guarantee that it would not? Even if partial risk is there, there is no sense of conducting such an uncertain experiment, which is neither important nor has any relevance. There are certain agencies, which are reported to have put in a substantial investment. Scientists at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, known by its French initials CERN, some of whom have been working for a generation on the $5.8 billion collider, or Large Hadron Collider (LHC) for a long time. In addition, there are two Agencies, who have put in $531 million to build the collider, and the NSF has promised to contribute $87 million as its annual operating cost. Is this logic enough to ignore the highest risk to the Earth for the sake of some slapdash and reckless investors and over enthusiastic scientists, who have right to put the risk to the life of the Earth and its living beings? Since hundreds of scientists from America and other parts of the world are participating in the research, will it be justified if the periling threat of wiping out of the Earth be allowed? The experiment may not be an atom smasher, but Earth Smasher? Should the world leaders or judges be allowed to write the death warrant of the entire Planet Earth? The Scientists are totally miscalculating what they are doing, they might be innocently and ignorantly sitting on the explosive death of the Earth; However it is not advisable to take such an extreme drastic act of putting the whole Earth at such a high risk. It shall be just like as if the Scientists are forcing the Earth to commit Suicide. If the experiment turns hostile, therell be none to weep on us except God Himself, who might feel to regret why he produced human beings who themselves proved to be their own enemies and enemy of the entire life on the Planet, which took over 4 billion years to come on the Earth. The main fault is that of the general public, who are busier in their entertainment and petty materialist matters, knowing nothing that death is hanging over them, just a month away, the moment it is switched on, none knows whether it shall make the experiment success or create planets death? I dont mean that it would definitely prove as dangerous as claimed to be, but if the experiment fails or takes an unexpected negative turn, where would the Earth stand; where will the life go; no where; it could be blown out in the space. Should such a risk be advisable? Is it not the duty of the intelligentsia to avoid such a high risk of an experiment, which they are playing for a fun sake; the experiment can cause any damage to the world or the Earth planet, except that if this experiment succeeds, the scientists shall be encouraged to go for another greater risky experiments than this, the risky race of such experiments shall continue till the entire Earth smashes. On Tuesday, US Justice Department lawyers representing the Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation filed a motion to dismiss the case. Some scientists feel that it shall create small black holes that could swallow the whole Earth. It is not the wildest conjecture of the intelligent people to think so. I am author of Two Big Bangs Created the Universe (Formed in Eternal Space) and am well versed with the theory of Black Hole. If I am not in the wrong to be the first author in the world on the exact theory of Black Hole, I can confidently say that I do have some idea on the subject of Black Hole better than any other author or theorist in the world including Stephen Hawking, this is my confidence in self, not arrogance. A Black Hole not only sucks the material whatever falls in its event horizon, but also it creates a cycle of energy, produces abnormal force to form remnants for creating stars and galaxies. The Black Hole first eats up the material and thereafter regenerates the same to reproduce the requisite energy in a more organized way but Stephen Hawkings theory has been different for three decades. He has been preaching the theory that the Black Hole once sucks the material ejects no information thereafter. I know that the size of the Black Hole in this experiment, would be just tiny and shall immediately evaporate but once they start fading away however tiniest they might be, do not dissolve permanently, but shall remain live reacting in or on the Earth, and has every reason to weaken or engender the Earth to an unprecedented scale, if the experiment dont go success. In case of failure of the experiment, there is the greatest apprehension that it can perish the Earth and the Solar System shall be devoid of life. In my opinion being somewhat expert in Black Holes, the small Black Holes shall not swallow the Earth all of a sudden but shall destroy it as an inviolable virus, and it shall be very hard to suppress that unimaginable damage. However, first it should be avoided irrespective of its heavy cost and long research since the research is of no consequence, or extra care may be taken to save the Earth, thats the only appeal left to make to the scientists of this project. The collider basically consists of a ring of super cooled magnets 27 km in circumference attached to huge barrel shaped detectors. I am happy to note one thing that the ring, which straddles the French and Swiss border, is buried 100 meters (330 feet) underground, to reduce the high risk. Scientists feel that they may produce some amazing findings from this great experiment, but, in my opinion, it is not such a finding where a colossal risk of the Earths life could be gambled. But once it clicks, it is expected to produce some startling findings of some extra dimensions, so-called boon for superstring theory, which holds that quarks, the particles that make up atoms, are infinitesimal vibrating strings. If these scientists have taken care of going through the theory of Two Big Bangs Created the Universe, (Formed in Eternal Space), they should not have run after the sting theory. The scientists are after discovering of such a particle thought to give matter to its mass. CERN scientists point out that they have never been proven to exist. They said that even if these particles formed inside the Collider they would quickly break down. When the LHC is finally at full power, two beams of protons will race around the huge ring 11,000 times a second in opposite directions. They have made arrangements for the safety of the collider, but nothing is sure how will it work, since the risk is higher and higher than the need of the experiment, which I feel is superfluous. Note: Dr. Raj Baldev is the author of Two Big Bangs Created the Universe (Formed in Eternal Space), which was released in 2003. About ten months after the release of the book, Stephen Hawking submitted his thesis in International Conference in Dublin in July 2004 that he had been wrong for thirty years and admitted that the Black Hole brings back the information. He admitted that the Black Hole sends back the information, while earlier like Einstein he was of the opinion that the information once gets into the Black Hole could never return, nothing escapes, not even light. In this connection, the publishers of Dr. Raj Baldev's book sent a legal notice to Mr. Stephen Hawking in this regard through the British High Commission to India for violating his copy right. Later on, keeping in view the good relations between India and the UK, the matter was dropped. It is just to mention that Dr. Raj Baldev does have an expertise on the Black Hole and the theory of the Cosmos and his comments in this article are therefore very relevant.
