SANTA ANA – A 33-year-old woman walked away from her home Wednesday and has not been seen since by her family, police said.
Sarah Neomi Gonzalez suffers from schizophrenia and needs to take several medications.
Gonzalez – who is described as calm and extremely reserved – left her home in the 1000 block of East Russell Street with her passport and $300.
“Sarah has told her mother she was ‘tired of life,’ however has never attempted suicide,” according to a police statement.
She previously went missing Nov. 6 and was found several days later in Pomona.
Officials are hoping someone spots Gonzalez and calls Santa Ana police Investigator Velarde-Reyes at 714-245-8393 or at 714-245-8701.
Gonzalez is known to use public buses in Orange County.
