Report alleges woman in wheelchair fondled, robbed

FLINT, MI -- A woman in a wheelchair told police she was inappropriately touched by a man while in an elevator and that the man then stole a ring from her, according to a Flint police report.

The alleged robbery and criminal sexual conduct took place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Father Dukette Boulevard, just north of East Fifth Street, a report said.

A woman was in a wheelchair in the elevator, when a man, who she described as being in his late 40s, approached her and fondled her and then stole a ring from her right hand, police said.

Police said the man fled the scene and was not located by police.
