ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A federal investigation finds that one-third of veteran disability claims the St. Louis office processes either overpays or underpays qualified veterans.
Most of the inaccurate claims were caused by office staff delaying the scheduling of medical exams for an average of nine months. Investigators will continue to watch for improper payments and will do follow up reports.
