Spanish artist Fernando Vicente has reimagined the human body as a machine made up of car parts. His paintings, which are layered over vintage-car schematics, are creepy, disturbing, and fascinating as hell. (NSFW)
Vicente's art, which shows the human body as a nonsensical contraption made of automotive ephemera, is the kind of thing that gives us nightmares. Or maybe cool dreams. Or something. On another note, there's a joke ("Nice spindles. Is it cold in here?") in here somewhere ("Ignitor? I barely know 'er!"), but we can't quite see it. (If you like him, then you make him put a ring gear on it?) Ah well. Anyone else? Suggestions?
